A Walk in the George Washington National Forest

Tree cutting crews have cut trees in preparation for construction of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline in the George Washington National Forest. Kate Addleson, Chapter Director, is leading the hike on March 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Join us for a hike to view the massive devastation of our National Forests.

Directions: From Interstate 81, Merge onto VA-262 W via EXIT 220 toward US-11/Staunton and travel 6.9 miles. Take the US-250/Churchville Ave exit. Turn left onto Churchville Ave/US-250 W. Continue to follow US-250 W for 15 miles. Turn sharp right onto Braley Pond Rd. Turn left at sign for Braley Pond Day use area.
