Movie and Discussion, January 5th

Join us for Racing Extinction, a movie and discussion sponsored by Virginia Interfaith Power and Light and the Rockfish Presbyterian Church Youth Group, Sunday, January 5, 2020, Rockfish Presbyterian Church, 5016 Rockfish Valley Hwy (Rt 151), Faber, VA 22938. Potluck dinner 4:30pm, Movie 5pm.

Discussion following movie lead by Mindy Zlotnick who serves in Yogaville Environmental Solutions, protecting the environment and supporting the growth of renewable energy at the ashram. Through Buckingham: We the People, she has collaborated with CELDF to write a Community Bill of Rights for the James River. This document gives the local community the right to self-government and gives Nature the same rights as humans and corporations. She is a Climate Reality Leader with former Vice President Al Gore’s group Climate Reality Training.
