Cville Rising Event: January 14, 2017 – Building the Resistance, Stopping the Atlantic Coast Pipeline – Saturday January 14, 2017, 4:30-6:00 pm, Charlottesville Friends Meeting House, 1104 Forest St, Charlottesville, VA 22903.  Agenda will include speakers from local groups and directly impacted local counties.

Cville Rising says, “The Atlantic Coast Pipeline is proposed to cut through the heart of our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains here in Central Virginia, not too far from C’ville. Join us, to find out more and help us build a (peaceful) army to stop this thing…because nothing less is acceptable.  If Standing Rock has shown us one thing, it’s that people power matters. We have to show up. Will you join us?  The biggest difference between the ACP and the DAPL, is that construction hasn’t started yet. Dominion hope to start construction in the fall. We NEED to STOP them. We HAVE to STOP them….
