Sierra Club is working with partner organizations to sponsor an action in Washington, DC on Sunday, May 15th, 2016. There’s a groundswell building, and you’re invited to be part of it. Coordinated actions across the globe will send a clear message that it is time to break free from fossil fuels and invest in a just transition to 100% renewable energy. Thousands of regular people have committed to taking action already, and thousands more are interested in participating in some way. This truly is a global movement calling for an end to fossil fuels and a just transition to 100% renewable energy.

A bus will leave from Staunton at 8:30 am traveling to Nelson, Charlottesville and then to Washington DC.  The bus will return at the end of the day.
